About the event

We’re so happy to invite you to our Wabara (Japanese rose) & Herbal Flower Arrangement Workshop on Saturday, May 9th!

May is a special season for us florists—a time when flowers begin to bloom in abundance, marking the true arrival of spring. It’s also when fresh, beautiful roses and aromatic herbs start to appear in the markets.

What is WABARA?

“WABARA” (“Wa” means Japanese and “Bara” means rose) refers to original rose varieties created by Rose Farm KEIJI in Moriyama, Shiga, known for their delicate, soothing beauty that reflects Japanese aesthetics, featuring softly rounded cup or rosette-shaped blooms with thin petals, gentle downward-facing forms, nuanced intermediate tones such as soft pinks and beiges, and a light, elegant fragrance, with varieties like “Kaorikazari” and “Yukali” exemplifying their harmony and refined presence.

At the end of the workshop, we will serve “Yukari” petal tea made by Rose Farm KEIJI.
