Kyoto Ware Ninshu Guest Bowl "Hakuryusai"
Crafted by a Kyoto kiln with a long-standing tradition of supplying Ninna-ji Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, this Guest Bowl beautifully blends traditional Japanese craftsmanship with modern practicality.
The Hakuryusai glaze, meaning “white, flowing colors,” evokes snow-capped mountains as they emerge into spring. Its bold yet delicate pattern is complemented by Jinsyu’s distinctive finger-groove technique, creating a piece that is both elegant and comfortable to hold.
Traditionally sized for serving tea to guests, it is equally suited for coffee, wine, appetizers, and side dishes.
Please note that each piece is handcrafted, so the glaze pattern and color may vary from the photos. Each piece is unique.
